Almighty Allah says in the Qur'an:

….And We originated (the life of) living organism (on earth) from water. So do they not accept faith (even after learning these facts brought forth by the Qur’an)?”►[Al-Qur’an Chapter 21 Surah Al-Ambiya:Verse 30].

■Only after advances have been made in science, do we now know that cytoplasm, the basic substance of the cell is made up of 80% water.

■Cytoplasm is basically the substance that fills the cell. It is a jelly-like material that is eighty percent water and usually clear in color. It is more like a viscous (thick) gel than a watery substance, but it liquefies when shaken or stirred. Cytoplasm, which can also be referred to as cytosol, means cell substance.

■This name is very fitting because cytoplasm is the substance of life that serves as a molecular soup in which all of the cell's organelles are suspended and held together by a fatty membrane. The cytoplasm is found inside the cell membrane, surrounding the nuclear envelope and the cytoplasmic organelles. [sln.fi.edu/qa97/biology/cells/cell3.html]

■ Modern research has also revealed that most organisms consist of 50% to 90% water and that every living entity requires water for its existence.

■Was it possible 14 centuries ago for any human-being to guess that every living thing is made of water?

The following verse refers to the creation of animals from water:

And Allah has originated (chemical genesis of) every moving creature from water. So, some of them creep on their bellies, some walk on two feet and some others on four. Allah creates what He wills. Surely Allah has Absolute Power over everything.►[Al-Qur’aan Surah Noor 24: Verse 45]

The following verse refers to the creation of human beings from water:

“It is He Who has Created man from water: Then has He established Relationships of lineage And marriage: for thy Lord Has power (over all things).” ►[Chapter 25 Surah Furqan:Verse 54]

In todays world when science has made a remarkable progress it is much easier and logical for us to reflect upon the signs of ALLAH and find the Greatest Truth, to find the Creator Himself. The Question put in front of us at the end of v.[21:30] shakes the consciousness of all humans that even after knowing through scientific facts, will you not  then believe in ALLAH and His word ?

  ~~~Where two water bodies meet... but do not mix!~~~

 In this photo two bodies of water were merging in the middle of The Gulf of Alaska and there was a foam developing only at their junction. It is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean has a higher percentage of salt causing the two bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix.

This is a living exmaple of the following verse in the Qur'an:

[Surah Al-Rahman 55:19] He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet.

[Surah Al-Rahman 55:20] Whereas there is a barrier between them so they cannot encroach upon one another.

[Surah Al-Rahman 55:21] So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?

In All probability,this is a type of of halocline.In oceanography, a halocline is a subtype of chemocline caused by a strong, vertical salinity gradient within a body of water. Because salinity (in concert with temperature) affects the density of seawater, it can play a role in its vertical separation as can be seen in this photo.

As Allah says in another place in the Qur'an:

And He is the One Who joined two rivers, this (one) very sweet and freshening and that (other one) very salty and bitter. And He set a barrier and a strong partition between them.{Surah Al-Furqan Chapter 25 : Verse 53}

This phenomenon occurs in several places, including:

·  The divider between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean at Gibralter.

·  Cape Point, Cape Peninsula, South Africa where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean.

·   Egypt, where the river Nile flows into the Mediterranean Sea.

These scientific phenomena mentioned in the Qur’an was also confirmed by Dr. William Hay, a well known marine scientist and Professor of Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado, U.S.A.

Here are two beautiful ahadith which tell us that there are 360 joints in the human body

■ Hazrat Aisha (Radiallahu Anha) reported Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) as saying: 

"Everyone has been created with three hundred and sixty Joints. 

Whoever mentions Allah's greatness (says Allahu Akbar),

praises Allah,

 extols Allah, and

seeks forgiveness from Allah and

removes stones from the path of the people,

enjoins what is good and forbids the evil to the amount of those three hundred and sixty joints (sulama), he walks on that Day (of Judgment) having distanced himself from the Hell fire.".

■ Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib(Radiyallahu Anhu): 

"I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) say:

"A human being has three hundred and sixty joints for each of which he must give alms. "

The people asked him: “Who is capable of doing this?”

 He replied:” It may be mucus in the mosque which you bury, and something which you remove from the road;

 but if you do not find such, two rak'ahs in the forenoon will be sufficient for you. “

The Scientific Fact: The joint is a point of articulation of two bones, a bone and gristle, or two gristles in anypart of the human body. 

The total number of joints, according to scientists, is: 

1- Skull joints: 86 

2- Throat joints: 6 

3- Thorax joints: 66 

4- Spine and Pelvis joints: 76 

5- Upper limbs: 32 x 2 = 64 

6- Lower limbs: 31 x 2= 62 

Total number of joints: 360.

Facets of Scientific Inimitability: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that the number of joints in the human body is 360, although at that time it was impossible to know such information, for most of the joints are very small and hard to see with the naked eye. The exact number of joints was not discovered until development in the fields of anatomy and histology. 

Thus, the Prophet (peace be upon him) accurately pinpointed the number of joints fourteen centuries ago while modern anatomy came to assert this scientific fact only recently.
